'The 5th Gift' - 6"x6" - oil on canvas - SOLD
I can't believe it's been over three years since I've done a gift painting. I'm in the middle of working on some rather large projects for galleries and publishing (hence my silence on the blog the past several months) and I needed a break. So, this week I took a little time off to paint 'The 5th Gift'. There is something in the paint-by-number experience of recreating decorative wrapping paper that soothes me. My hubby was commenting on how peaceful the process looked while he watched me paint this. It is. Very soothing indeed.
