Congratulations Jelaine,
Although no big surprise considering the caliber of your work.
This one is one of my favorites, so strong in it's design... I especially love the multiple yolk reflections around the border of the glass. A real gem of a painting.

Since you are also comfortable working in a square format I should point out another small works show here in So Cal in April. You would have no problem getting accepted.

You can also view paintings from their past Dec 6 Small works show.

The show is an open call to all traditional representational artists, so everyone is welcome.

David, thank you! I'll check it out tonight. :o)

Terry, I am so flattered that you took the time to leave a comment on my blog. Crossing my fingers that it makes it safely to you and meets your standards for framing and shipping. I had a helluva time getting it properly framed. Two different framers before it didn't look like it'd been dragged behind a truck. (sigh) I blamed Retrograde.
