Nectarine Study

Nectarine Study - 6" x 6" - oil on canvas

Had to try it. Nectarines are HARD. They're a lot more translucent than I thought they'd be, but then I'm usually too busy stuffing them into my mouth to notice. Now I know.

Love the color combination

That, my dear, is a stunner! The blue bowl as a background is a touch of genius. I just bottled several kilos of these for eating in the depths of winter. The pink skins turned the bottling liquor a beautiful pink, which now shines through the glass of the jars. I just want to rip them all open & eat them stright away.

Hey I just saw your article over at empty easel!
Nice one!
And I scoffed down a tasty nectarine for my breakfast this very morn.
Yours looks nicer than the one I had.
